Applications : Flavoxate hydrochloride is a potent, competitive inhibitor of phosphodiesterase (PDE) and acts as both an antispasmodic agent and a muscarinic mAChR antagonist. It demonstrates moderate calcium antagonistic properties along with local anesthetic effects. Flavoxate hydrochloride may be utilized in research pertaining to overactive bladder (OAB) and lower urinary tract infections.
