Applications : This is an impurity of Fluconazole (Fluconazole EP impurity E), which is a fungal lanosterol 14 alpha-demethylase inhibitor, which thereby prevents the formation of ergosterol, used in the treatment and prevention of superficial and systemic fungal infections.
