Applications : FV-100 hydrochloride is a promising new agent with extreme potency and specificity for varicella-zoster virus (VZV). It is the valyl ester prodrug of CF-1743, the lead clinical candidate among the highly lipophilic bicyclic nucleoside analog (BCNA) family discovered in Cardiff/Leuven.
