Applications : Galeflaprit selectively inhibits the kinetoplastid proteasome in a non‑competitive manner, with potent activity against L. donovani (IC₅₀/EC₅₀ = 0.04 µM). Its low blood–brain barrier permeability supports its suitability for visceral leishmaniasis research and development.
