Applications : This is a deuterium labelled version of Gatifloxacin hydrochloride, which is a potent fluoroquinolone antibiotic with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. Gatifloxacin hydrochloride inhibits bacterial type II topoisomerases and E. coli. Gatifloxacin hydrochloride eye drops are used to treat infections of the eye, such as bacterial conjunctivitis.
