Applications : Gemfibrozil activates PPAR‑α and is widely used as a lipid‑modifying agent. It also inhibits multiple CYP450 isoforms with micromolar Ki values—CYP2C9 (5.8 µM), CYP2C19 (24 µM), CYP2C8 (69 µM), and CYP1A2 (82 µM)—highlighting its potential to influence xenobiotic metabolism.
