Applications : Glyco-obeticholic acid is an active glycine-conjugated metabolite of Obeticholic acid, which is acting as a potent farnesoid X receptor (FXR) agonist. Obeticholic acid is used to treat primary biliary cholangitis and under study for liver fibrosis.
