Applications : GSK-3494245 selectively inhibits the chymotrypsin‑like activity of the L. donovani proteasome by binding at the β4–β5 interface, with an IC₅₀ of 0.16 µM. Its activity against the human proteasome is markedly weaker (IC₅₀ = 13–40 µM). The compound shows favorable biological performance and biosafety characteristics, supporting its use in kinetoplastid parasite studies.
