Applications : ICA‑27243 selectively activates KCNQ2/3 channels with submicromolar potency (EC₅₀= 0.38 µM) while showing limited activity at KCNQ4 and KCNQ3/5. Through augmentation of M‑current, it reduces neuronal hyperexcitability and demonstrates antiepileptic and anticonvulsant properties.
