Applications : Irinotecan‑d₅ hydrochloride is a deuterated analog of Irinotecan·HCl, a topoisomerase I inhibitor widely used for colon and rectal cancer therapy. By trapping the topo I–DNA cleavage complex, it blocks DNA strand religation, and the d₅ label facilitates analytical and bio‑distribution studies.
