Applications : KN‑62 selectively inhibits CaMK‑II by binding to its calmodulin‑interaction site (K_i = 0.9 µM) and also blocks P2X7 receptor signaling as a noncompetitive antagonist (IC₅₀≈ 15 nM in HEK293 cells). This dual activity makes it a versatile tool for studying CaMK‑II‑dependent pathways and P2X7‑mediated inflammatory signaling.
