Applications :

L-Thyroxine-13C₆is a 13C labelled version of L-Thyroxine, which is a synthetic hormone in the treatment of hypothyroidism. DIO enzymes convert biologically active thyroid hormone (Triiodothyronine, T3) from L-Thyroxine (T4). This can be used as an analytical reference standard.
