Applications : This is an impurity of Laninamivir octanoate, which is a prodrug of Laninamivir and acts as a long-acting neuraminidase (NA) inhibitor with activity against the influenza virus. It is effective not only against Oseltamivir-resistant influenza strains but also against pandemic influenza viruses.
