Applications : Levomepromazine hydrochloride is an orally active antipsychotic that induces Ca2+ release by inhibiting the SERCA pump. It acts as an antagonist on dopamine, cholinergic, serotonin, and histamine receptors, and can trigger ER stress and autophagy. Additionally, it has antiviral, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, analgesic, sedative, and anti-injurious properties. Levomepromazine hydrochloride is used in studying psychiatric disorders and for relieving nausea and vomiting.
