Applications : MDL-28170 is a potent, selective and membrane-permeable cysteine protease inhibitor of calpain that rapidly penetrates the blood-brain barrier following systemic administration. MDL-28170 also block γ-secretase. Also, a novel therapeutic option for targeting SARS-CoV entry (EC50=100 nM). A useful COVID-19 research chemical.
