Applications : Meclizine is an antihistamine belonging to the piperazine class of H1 antagonists, functions by reversibly inhibiting the interaction of histamine at H1 receptors. It is recognized as an effective agent for preventing motion sickness and can cross the blood–brain barrier. Meclizine acts as an agonist ligand for mouse constitutive androstane receptor (CAR) and serves as an inverse agonist for human CAR. Additionally, it may be utilized in research related to polyQ toxicity disorders, including Huntington's disease.
