Applications : This is an impurity of Teduglutide, which is a human glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2) analog. It induces the expression of nuclear receptor subfamily 4 group A member 1 (NR4a1)/nur77 and activates intestinal FXR signaling in human hepatic stellate cells, thereby contributing to the mitigation of liver inflammation and fibrosis in mouse models of sclerosing cholangitis. Additionally, Teduglutide has been shown to ameliorate intestinal dysfunction, improve pulmonary injury, and reduce obesity-associated neuroinflammation and cellular apoptosis in mice.
