Applications : 3-Nitrophenylpyrazole derivative of Curcumin, exhibited potential anti-malarial activity. It is a highly selective P. falciparum inhibitor and most active Curcumin analog, which showed ten fold more potency as compared with N-Phenylpyrazole curcumin and four to fivefold more potency as compared to Curcumin against CQ-S and CQ-R strains, respectively.
