Applications : Biotin-containing alkyne is a useful reagent inthe synthesis of biotin-labeled probesby copper-catalyzed (3+2) cycloaddition of a biotin-containing alkyneand azido-containing beauveriolide analogs, are selective inhibitors against acyl–CoA: cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT), which catalyzes cholesteryl ester (CE) synthesis.
