Applications : ARP is a novel probe for the detection and quantitation of abasic sites in DNA allowing the DNA to be labelled with biotin groups. Aldehyde Reactive Probe (ARP) and then the tagged biotin is quantified by an ELISA-like assay. The labelled DNA can then be quantitated with fluorescent or enzyme-conjugated streptavidin complexes.
