Applications : This is an impurity of Benidipine, which is a potent, orally administered calcium channel antagonist. Benidipine demonstrates anti-apoptotic properties in ischaemic or reperfused myocardial cells. Additionally, Benidipine enhances the activity of endothelial cell-type nitric oxide synthase and contributes to improved coronary circulation in hypertensive rat models.
