Applications : This is an impurity of Alfuzosin, which is a potent selective alpha1-adrenoceptor antagonist in tissues of the lower urinary tract including the human prostate. Alfuzosin provides a pharmacological basis for its use in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy.
