Applications : Deuterium labelled N-Methyl-N-biotinyl glycine is used in quantification of cellular acid sphingomyelinase and galactocerebroside b-galactosidase activities by Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry using stable-isotope-labeled internal standards that were chemically identical to the products of the enzymatic reactions.
