Applications : This is a deuterium labelled version nitrosamine impurity of Escitalopram, which is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Escitalopram is used to treat depression and is sometimes used for anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) or panic attacks.
