Applications : This is a nitrosamine impurity of Sotalol, which is an orally active, non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker. Sotalol is a potent antiarrhythmic agent that can be utilized in the research of pediatric arrhythmias. Sotalol works by blocking beta-receptors and potassium KCNH2 channels. Additionally, Sotalol acts as an antiepileptic agent.
