Applications : This is a nitrosamine impurity of Tetracaine, which is a calcium channel protein inhibitor and blocks voltage-sensitive release of Ca2+ from the sarcoplasmic reticulum. Tetracaine is mainly used topically in ophthalmology and as an antipruritic.
Storage : Keep container tightly closed under nitrogen or argon and refrigerate for long-term shelf life.
