Applications : This is a nitrosamine impurity of Vildagliptin, which is an inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) class of drugs. Vildagliptin is a new oral antidiabetic agent that enhances pancreatic islet cell responsiveness to glucose.
