Applications : Niflumic acid acts as both a calcium-activated chloride channel blocker and a COX-2 inhibitor with an IC50 of 100 nM. It induces apoptosis in lung cancer cells through the caspase-8/Bid/Bax pathway. Niflumic acid also shows anti-tumor effects by regulating ERK1/2 expression and affecting MMP2 and MMP9 activity. Niflumic acid is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis.
