Applications : Nivasorexant is a selective OX1R inhibitor with good oral exposure and CNS penetration. It spares OX2Rs, inhibits several CYP enzymes only at micromolar concentrations, and demonstrates long‑lasting suppression of binge‑like eating in rats. Its high selectivity across >130 off‑targets and favorable safety characteristics make it a valuable tool for studying OX1R‑mediated mechanisms in binge eating disorder.
