Applications : NVS‑CECR2‑1 is a potent and selective inhibitor of the CECR2 bromodomain, showing strong binding affinity (IC₅₀ = 47 nM; K_D= 80 nM). It triggers cytotoxic and apoptotic responses in diverse cancer cells through both direct CECR2 inhibition and auxiliary mechanisms. As a well‑characterized chemical probe, it is widely used to study CECR2 biology and non‑BET bromodomain function.
