Applications : O6-[3-(Aminomethyl)benzyl]guanine is the analog of O6-[4-(aminomethyl)benzyl]guanine, potential intermediate for the synthesis of suitable O6-alkylguanine-DNA alkyltransferase inhibitor and found that the substitution of aminomethyl at the meta-position greatly enhances inactivation of alkyltransferase.
