Applications : It is a benzylguanine PEG-azide analog, a useful precursor for covalent and irreversible dimerization of fusion proteins of O6-alkylguanine-DNA alkyltransferase (AGT or SNAP-Tag) in vitro and in living cells. The cross-linking efficiency of AGT fusion proteins provides a measure to characterize the proximity and interactions of protein pairs in living cells.
