Applications : This is an impurity of Octreotide, which is a synthetic octapeptide and somatostatin receptor agonist that primarily targets subtypes 2, 3, and 5. Octreotide increases Gi activity, lowers intracellular cAMP, and exhibits antitumor effects, induces apoptosis, and is used in acromegaly research.
