Applications : This is a potent and selective p300/CBP HAT inhibitor with IC₅₀ values down to 620 nM, capable of blocking histone acetylation and suppressing tumor cell proliferation (EC₅₀ = 1–3 μM). In ER‑positive MCF‑7 cells, it mirrors p300 knockdown, inhibits ER‑driven transcription, and downregulates cancer‑related gene signatures, making it a valuable biological probe and a promising lead for cancer drug development.
