Applications : Paricalcitol-d₆ is a deuterium labelled version of Paricalcitol, which is a selective vitamin D receptor agonist. Paricalcitol suppresses parathyroid hormone mRNA expression and inhibits parathyroid cell proliferation. It is used to treat secondary hyperparathyroidism in chronic kidney disease.
