Applications : This is a major and active metabolite of Pentoxifylline, which is an oral, non-selective PDE inhibitor with immune-modulating, anti-inflammatory, hemorheological, anti-fibrinolytic, and anti-proliferative effects. Pentoxifylline is used in research on peripheral vascular and cerebrovascular diseases, as well as other conditions involving impaired microcirculation.
