Applications : Perospirone is an orally active compound that acts as an antagonist at the 5-HT2A receptor (Ki=0.6 nM) and dopamine D2 receptor (Ki=1.4 nM), and as a partial agonist at the 5-HT1A receptor (Ki=2.9 nM). It is classified as an atypical antipsychotic and is used in research related to schizophrenia.
