Applications : Phenelzine is an oral, irreversible MAO inhibitor used as an antidepressant. It also inhibits GABA transaminase, PrAO, and LSD1, helping to reduce oxidative stress and lipogenesis while increasing serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine levels. Phenelzine is being researched for various neurological, metabolic, and cancer conditions, including depression, anxiety, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, inflammatory pain, obesity, and prostate cancer.
