Applications : Phenformin‑d5 hydrochloride is a deuterium‑labelled version of Phenformin that blocks mitochondrial complex I, triggers AMPK activation through increased AMP/ATP ratios, and suppresses mTOR signaling, leading to reduced proliferation and induction of apoptosis and autophagy. It also targets CSCs and is useful for mechanistic and PK studies requiring isotopically labelled tracers.
