Applications : Polmacoxib is an orally administered nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts as a dual inhibitor of COX-2 (IC50 approximately 0.1 μg/ml) and carbonic anhydrase. It is indicated for managing pain and inflammation related to osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. Additionally, Polmacoxib has been shown to inhibit colorectal adenoma and tumor growth in mouse models.
