Applications : Prednisolone-d8 is a deuterium-labelled version of Prednisolone. This can be used as an analytical labelled reference standard. Prednisolone is a potent, orally active corticosteroid and a glucocorticoid. It offers four times the anti-inflammatory effect of hydrocortisone with reduced salt and water retention, and is useful in ocular and anti-inflammatory research.
