Applications : This is a deuterium labelled version (R)-enantiomer of Oxybutynin, which is a competitive antagonist of the M1, M2, and M3 subtypes of the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor. Oxybutynin is used to relieve urinary and bladder difficulties. (R)-Oxybutynin is the more pharmacologically active enantiomer, exhibiting greater antimuscarinic activity than (S)-Oxybutynin.
