Applications : This is an opposite enantiomer of Tegoprazan, which is a potassium-competitive acid blocker that acts as a reversible, orally active, and selective inhibitor of gastric H+/K+-ATPase. It reduces gastric acid secretion and motility in porcine, canine, and human H+/K+-ATPase in vitro, with IC50 values between 0.29-0.52 μM. Studies indicate that Tegoprazan improves colitis and enhances intestinal epithelial barrier function in mice. Tegoprazan is used in research related to inflammatory bowel disease, gastric acid-related conditions, and motility impairments.
