Applications : rac-NRL‑1049 represents the racemic mixture of the selective ROCK2 inhibitor NRL‑1049, which shows sub‑micromolar potency for ROCK2 and markedly lower activity toward ROCK1. NRL‑1049 preserves blood–brain barrier integrity and mitigates edema, seizures, hemorrhage, and lesion burden in cerebral cavernous malformation models, supporting its use in studies of neurovascular injury and repair.
