Applications : This is a deuterium labelled version an impurity of Ramipril (Ramipril-d5 EP impurity K), which is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, and diabetic kidney disease. Also used to prevent cardiovascular disease in those at high risk.
