Applications : This is a deuterium labelled version an impurity or metabolite of Ramipril (Ramipril-d₅ EP impurity E), which is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, and diabetic kidney disease. Also used to prevent cardiovascular disease in those at high risk.
