Applications : Rasagiline is a highly potent, selective, and irreversible mitochondrial monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor. As a click chemistry reagent, it contains an alkyne group and can participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing azide groups. Rasagiline is used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
