Applications : RIPK1‑IN‑17 is an orally active, selective RIPK1 inhibitor (Kd = 17 nM) that shows no meaningful inhibition of RIPK3. It specifically blocks necroptosis, not apoptosis, by suppressing RIPK1, RIPK3, and MLKL phosphorylation. In vivo, RIPK1‑IN‑17 protects mice from hypothermia and death in necroptosis‑driven inflammatory models, making it a useful tool compound for studying SIRS and other necroptosis‑related diseases.
