Applications : Ropivacaine is a sodium channel blocker that inhibits nerve conduction by reversibly blocking sodium ion influx. It also inhibits the K2P potassium channel TREK-1 with an IC50 of 402.7 μM in COS-7 cell membranes. Ropivacaine is used in neuropathic pain research.
