Applications : Rotigotine hydrochloride is a potent dopamine receptor agonist, exhibiting Ki values of 0.71 nM for the dopamine D3 receptor, 4–15 nM for the D2, D5, and D4 receptors, and 83 nM for the dopamine D1 receptor. It also acts as a partial agonist at the 5-HT1A receptor and as an antagonist at the α2B-adrenergic receptor. Rotigotine hydrochloride can be utilized in Parkinson's disease (PD) research.
